Provenance: Industrialist Dr. Eugen Lucius (1834-1903), Frankfurt a.M, who acquired the drawings directly from the artist in 1897.
Hippie style in 1894: Polka I-IV, a set of four ink drawings by Fidus (1868-1948), the proto-hippie German artist. His visionary artwork would later have an influence upon the rock-concert poster art produced in San Francisco in the 1960s.
