Slightly rubbed on the edges; otherwise a well-preserved, very impressive photograph in an unusually large format.

From left to right, we see Lenbach's older daughter Marion, his second wife Charlotte (Lolo), his younger daughter Gabriele, and the artist himself.

This photograph was a presentation copy from Franz von Lenbach to the painter and craftsperson Rudolf von Seitz (1842-1910), who, from 1883, was curator of the Bavarian National Museum and, from 1888, was also professor at the Munich Art Academy.
