In 1912, at the Internationale Kunst-Ausstellung in Amsterdam, Czech artist August Brömse exhibited and sold an extraordinary portfolio consisting of unique color variations of his first, and most highly regarded, print cycle Tod und Mädchen [Death and the Maiden].  One hundred years later, in 2012, The Daulton Collection acquired this one-of-a kind, 14-print portfolio, here published for the first time.
