The above drawing is from Wöhler's portfolio, circa 1930, entitled Mysterium Magnum, inspired by the writings of the German mystic Jakob Böhme (1575-1624) whose main theosophical work was Mysterium Magnum (1623).  The Daulton Collection contains three (of seven -- eight?) drawings from this portfolio.
