The Daulton Collection has discovered that this drawing is a rare sheet of studies for Greiner's painting "Huldigung an die Schönheit" ["Homage to Beauty"], circa 1890, presumed to be lost.  A reproduction of the painting can be found in Julius Vogel, Otto Greiner (Bielefeld and Leipzig: Belhagen, 1925), after pg. 8, Abb. [ill.] 14.
