Discussion:


"Heinrich Assmann settled in Worpswede in 1909, where he became a pupil of Georg Tappert. In 1910 he also attended Lovis Corinth's class in Berlin. From 1911, he lived near Worpswede and had close contact with the painters Heinrich Vogeler, Carl Emil Uphoff and Wilhelm Morgener. He exhibited in Osnabrück for the first time in 1913. He was killed on the Eastern Front in 1915."  HA
