condition: small crease in the upper left corner; slight browning due to the paper quality; otherwise in very good condition.


Wilhelm Spohr (1868-1959) was a German writer, editor, and translator.   Spohr was associated with the Friedrichshagen literary circle. He was an editor at Gustav Landauer's anarchist newspaper, Der Sozialist.  And he wrote the first monograph about Fidus and his artwork, published in 1902.
